Planet Uranus has 27 moons. The four largest - Titania, Oberon, Umbriel, and Ariel can be viewed (with some difficulty) in a medium-to-large telescope.
Titania and Oberon are believed to harbor subsurface oceans.
Uranus' ring shepherd moons are Cordelia and Opelia (ε Ring), and Portia and Rosalind (ν Ring).

Uranus moons can be classified into two groups: inner moons and outer moons. There are 13 inner moons that share similar orbital characteristics and are associated with the rings of Uranus. The inner moons all lie within the orbit of Miranda. There are 14 outer moons, 5 of which are designated as large moons, and 13 of which are designated as irregular (outer) moons.
