Caldwell 80 (NGC 5139) also known as the Omega Centauri is a globular cluster located within the constellation Centaurus.

C80 is best viewed during Spring, is magnitude 3.6*, and can be viewed with naked eye. It is 36' in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
