M108 (NGC 3556) is a barred spiral galaxy located within the constellation Ursa Major in the Ursa Major Group of galaxies.

M108 is best viewed during early spring, is magnitude 11.0*, and can be viewed with small telescope. It is 8 x 1' in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
