Caldwell 64 (NGC 2362) also known as the Mexican Jumping Star is a open cluster located within the constellation Canis Major.

C64 is best viewed during Winter, is magnitude 4.1*, and can be viewed with naked eye. It is 8' in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
