Caldwell 103 (NGC 2070) also known as the Tarantula Nebula is a diffuse nebula located within the constellation Dorado.

C103 is best viewed during Winter, is magnitude 8.2*, and can be viewed with binoculars. It is 40 x 25' in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
