Caldwell object C103 also known as the Tarantula Nebula is a diffuse nebula located within the constellation Dorado. Caldwell C103 is best viewed during Winter, is magnitude 8.2*, and can be viewed with binoculars. It is 8.2 in size. For reference, the full moon is 30' (arc minutes) in size.
